Enjoy Life Academy Welcome Guide 2025

Welcome to the Enjoy Life Academy, the top program for empowering teens. Commonly referred to by our teens as "The best week of my life!”, the Academy is a powerful, summer experience where teens build unshakeable courage, strengthen their mindset, and train to become authentic, influential leaders.

Our Teens form deep friendships with like-minded peers from across the country, have an incredible amount of fun, and walk away with a clear sense of identity and purpose. We equip teens with the attitude, mindset, and tools to become ultra successful and happy in their life.

The ultimate outcome is that our teens leave the Enjoy Life Academy as the best best version of themselves.

This positively life-changing experience is unlike anything that exists on Earth. Show up with an open mind, open heart, and embrace the expansion of your comfort zone.

Be awesome,
Evren Gunduz
Enjoy Life Academy Founder

First Years Virtual Prep Meeting

We host a 30-minute virtual meeting for all First Year Teens and their Parent/Guardian. Each year, families tell us how helpful this meeting is for setting expectations and easing nerves. While attendance isn’t required, it’s highly recommended to ensure you’re prepared and ready to make the most of this life-changing experience.

What we’ll cover:

  • What to pack and how to prepare

  • A look at a typical day at the Enjoy Life Academy

  • Highlight key logistics: arrival, move-in, commencement, and move-out

  • Life on a college campus: dorms, roommates, and dining halls

Attend either date (not both):

  • Sunday June 15 - 7:30pm EST

  • Sunday June 22 - 7:30pm EST

We are Screen Free.

Unplug to Awaken

Take a 6-day cleanse from the constant pull of social media and nonstop stimulation. You'll feel more present, clear-minded, and connected to real life - an experience that’s often described by our teens as truly awakening.

Choose your level of boldness:

Level 1: Go all in. Leave your phone at home. Imagine the focus, confidence, and freedom you’ll feel! (Staff phones are available each night for family check-ins.)

Level 2: Lock it up. Store your phone in our secure lockbox when you arrive and only access it when absolutely necessary. Think you can go the whole week without it? See how long you last.

Level 3: Keep your phone locked in your dorm room during the day and check it in the evenings.

Life On a College Campus

Babson Dorms

  • Dorms and floors are separated by gender

  • Each room has 2 twin beds

  • Each floor has a common same-gender bathroom

  • Roommates will be given upon arrival

  • We group roommates based on similar age and gender but different towns. Making a new friend from a new town is what it’s all about!

 Babson Dining

  • We eat our meals in the main Dining Hall and get the exact same full service offerings that the college students get during the school year.

  • The dining hall offers multiple options at every meal including pastas, proteins, stir fry, salad bar, a variety of ethnic cuisines, fruits, vegetables, breakfast choices galore, and soft-serve ice cream. The food at Babson is SO good!

  • There are multiple meal choices for every dietary profile including vegetarian, vegan, dairy free, nut free, gluten-free, etc.

Safety & Health

The Enjoy Life Academy prioritizes the safety of all our students. Our policies align with the Massachusetts Educational Summer Program Guidelines as well as the policies of Babson College and the Wellesley Board of Health.

Medical Safety

  • We have a Registered Nurse on site for 24/7 coverage.

  • The Majority of our staff are CPR/First-Aid certified and are equipped to help in time of an emergency.

Medications

  • Students are responsible for administering their own medications per their doctor or parent/guardian recommendations.

  • If the student requires an over-the-counter medication, we will call parents/guardians to gain consent.

  • If you would like our Nurse to possess a student’s prescription medication and remind students to take it, it must be handed in on the first day in the following format:

    • In a ziploc bag

    • Labeled with the STUDENT NAME & MEDICATION NAME

    • Note on the inside with dosage instructions

Physical Safety

  • At move in, each teen will be provided with a room key and security card which will grant them access into their dorm, dining hall, and academic buildings on campus. Any civilian without a key card cannot gain access to any on campus buildings.

  • The Campus is patrolled by Public Safety 24/7, 365 days a year by sworn police officers.

  • The campus grounds are outfitted with Emergency Call boxes and surveillance cameras in plain site.

  • Enjoy Life Academy Staff will be patrolling the dorm floors each night and available all night for student needs.

In The Event of an Emergency:

  • We will provide medical personnel with the student’s Health & Wellness information that you provided in your registration.

  • Staff will contact the student’s Parents/Guardians & Emergency Contacts.

  • If there is an emergency in the student’s family while they are at the Academy, please contact Allison: (508) 505-8561

Our Standards

All teens and staff are expected to uphold a high standard of excellence in mindset, actions, and language.

Core Values

We are noble, grateful guests of Babson College and WILL:

  • Leave every place better than we found it.

  • Leave every person better than we found them.

  • Leave ourselves better than who we were

Dorm Room Evening/Night Standards

When we arrive back at our dorms each evening, this is a time to shower, work on a reflection activity given by your Enjoy Life Teacher, spend time with your roommate, or check in with home. Once quiet hours begin, it is time to get much needed sleep.

During quiet hours we MAY:

  • Hang out and connect with our roommate.

  • Journal or reflect on the day and our growth.

  • Read a book.

  • SLEEP.

During quiet hours we may NOT:

  • Hang out in other people's dorm rooms.

  • Sleep in other people’s dorm rooms.

  • Talk loud enough that it can be heard from the hallway.

Examples of our core values in action:

  • Early is when you should arrive at everything!

  • Network with people in a respectful way free of physical or verbal harassment.

  • Join in on every opportunity to expand your comfort zone.

  • Organize your personal belongings and materials.

  • You should be open minded to other people’s perspectives.

  • Live a clean, healthy week free of screens and substances.

  • If you see trash on the ground or a chair out of place, improve it.

  • Free yourself of your phone for this one week and be present.

  • Engage with others and give people a chance to be their authentic self!

Follow the Action!

Our media associates will be posting photos, videos, and updates of the Leadership Academy on our Instagram account all week as well as sending out a newsletter each evening. Follow our accounts to be a part of the action!
